Periodontics David Kallus D.M.D.

Dr. David Kallus is an honors graduate of both the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and New York University College of Dentistry where he received numerous accolades for excellence in Periodontics. He is a recognized Board Certified Periodontist. He is diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology.

His advanced training in the diagnosis and relationship of periodontal diseases to overall health status shapes his treatment philosophy, which is conservative and noninvasive.

Treatment alternatives include non-surgical and medical management focusing on antibacterial control. When surgery is required, the emphasis is on regeneration of the supportive structures of teeth or tooth replacement with implants as indicated.

 

 

Endodontics ~ Joseph A. Bruckner D.D.S.

Dr. Joseph A. Bruckner received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Yeshiva University, where he graduated cum laude. He then graduated from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and has demonstrated clinical and diagnostic skill throughout his dental, post-doctorate, and endodontic training. Dr. Bruckner has extensive experience with treating geriatric, pediatric, and dental phobic patients, and he has been recognized as board eligible by the American Board of Endodontics. A knowledgeable endodontist, Dr. Bruckner received the Quintessence Award for excellence in academics and research achievements.

Studying at an advanced post-doctorate level during his general practice residency at the Stony Brook University Hospital allowed Dr. Bruckner to become proficient in all disciplines of dentistry. His keen interest in treatment planning makes him a highly regarded specialist to consult with on difficult cases even outside of the realm of Endodontics. He was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation during his time at the Stony Brook University Hospital as he demonstrated his exceptional clinical ability and leadership in interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Dr. Bruckner earned his endodontic specialty certificate working with some of the most highly-regarded practitioners in the field.

 

Oral Surgery ~ Gabriel N. Hershman D.D.S.

        Dr. Gabriel N. Hershmnn attended the NYU college of Dentistry where he was accepted with a full acedemic scholarship. He graduated with honors in 2009 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He then went on to further his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellvue Hospital Center where he had the privilege to serve as chief resident.

        While at NYU, he was trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including Correctional Jaw Surgery, Facial Trauma, Pathology and Reconstruction, Dentoalveolar Surgery, Wisdom Teeth Removal, and Dental implants. Additionally, he trained along with the anesthesiologists and has extensive experience in intavenous anesthesia. He is currently an attending Surgeon at NYU Langone Medical Center and a clinical assistant professor at the NYU College of Dentistry where he teaches in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic weekly.
